A Letter from Our
ce0 & Founder
Dear Community Partners and Supporters,
As a first‑generation college graduate, I know intimately what it means to navigate systems that were not built with students like me in mind. My journey—from being a graduate assistant for TRIO programs in Ohio to leading statewide recruitment strategies, building apprenticeship pathways, and now calling Los Angeles home—has been shaped by one truth: talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Edvolve Consulting exists to change that.
At Edvolve, we are committed to advancing equity in education by supporting underrepresented students as they pursue higher education, workforce readiness, and personal growth. Our consulting services bridge systemic opportunity gaps through personalized college preparation, career readiness training, and mentorship programs rooted in culturally relevant and evidence‑based practices. We partner with schools, nonprofits, workforce boards, and families to ensure that students not only access opportunities, but are equipped to thrive within them.
Throughout my career, I have worked to build bridges between education and workforce systems—much like an architect designing pathways that carry people toward their future. Whether directing registered apprenticeship programs in the East Bay or facilitating national workshops on liberatory design thinking, microaggressions, and asset‑based student support, I have seen the transformative power of intentional programming and community partnership.
Edvolve is an extension of that lifelong commitment. Our work is grounded in measurable outcomes, sustainable mentorship models, and a belief that every student—especially those from historically underserved backgrounds—deserves access to the tools, resources, and relationships that unlock possibility.
Thank you for joining us in this mission. Together, we are empowering the next generation of leaders, professionals, and change‑makers.
With gratitude and determination,
Dr. Roslynn Hyneman, Ed.D.
